Flying to Avoriaz / Transfers

Ski-lifts.com

You can get a 5% discount for ski-lifts.com transfers by booking via this link.

When you book you may be asked which terminal in Geneva airport you are using. If your ticket does not specify a terminal then you should assume it's Terminal 1. Terminal 2 is rarely used.

Your destination is 'Avoriaz-France'. Do not select 'Avoriaz-Cable Car' as this will drop you at the bottom of the mountain at the Prodains Telepherique. We do not recommend using 'Alpy Bus' as it only drops at Prodains and not at Avoriaz itself. Also do not choose 'Amara' as this is an area just outside the resort.

If you are asked for the address of the apartment use Residence Aster

Ski Passes

Our top tip on ski lift passes is to book them on line. Visit the skipass website and order the hands free internet reloadable cards. You should buy the passes at least 2 weeks before you leave. You can then pay for your lift pass on line just before you leave and you can go straight to the lifts and no queuing for passes in resort.

NB.
Avoriaz operate a discount off the full portes du soleil ski passes for early purchase. All you need to do is book on line before the season starts. The best discount is available before the end of September.

Ski Hire

We have arranged a 40% discount at Mir Famose which is just opposite the lift down to the resort centre. You can see their range of equipment on the Ski Set website

You may be able to get an equivalent discount on line but if not just let me know what you need together with height / weight / shoe size and I will reserve with the owner of the shop and you pay in the resort when you arrive.

Ski Lessons / Guides

We recommend the Avoriaz Alpine Ski School - small class sizes and instruction in native or fluent English - mention skiavoriaz.co.uk and receive a 5% discount on lessons.

The Avoriaz Alpine Ski School offer limited availability for children's lessons so you may want to consider the Village des Enfants instead.
